Michelle C. Gevint (1980) is an Israeli-American interdisciplinary artist currently based in Brooklyn. Her work examines personal and social relationships to architectural spaces and built environments specifically touching on topics such as displacement, alienation, and failure.Through images, videos, and installations she reflects on the power of cultural myths and archetypes in a contemporary context.

Gevint obtained my BFA from Bezalel Art Academy, Jerusalem and moved to NYC after receiving a scholarship to complete my MFA at Parsons. My most recent film has been screened at the UN climate change summit COP23 at the Kunst Museum Bonn, Germany, organized by the museum TBA21.
